Local Sporting Clubs Share in More Than $46,000 Funding Boost

Nine sporting clubs across the Port Macquarie electorate will benefit from a combined $46,000 in funding through the NSW Government’s Local Sport Grant Program 2025.

“I acknowledge and thank all clubs that submitted applications for this funding round. The quality and number of submissions reflect the passion and commitment of our local sporting community,” Mr Dwyer said.

“The successful projects range from facility upgrades to new equipment and participation initiatives, all aimed at increasing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in sport and active recreation.”

The successful recipients are:

  • $2,000 for Port Macquarie Rowing Club to stage the 3 Rivers Mini Marathon
