DWYER ENCOURAGES COMMUNITY TO HAVE THEIR SAY
Member for Port Macquarie, Robert Dwyer is encouraging local residents to have their say on proposed changes to the Pacific Highway-Harrington Road intersection upgrade.
“Transport for NSW is now proposing to change roundabouts on the Harrington Road and Coopernook Road to T-intersections and I believe it is vitally important that people share their views on these proposed changes,” Mr Dwyer said.
“I don’t think our community should stand by and cop a second rate road network which I believe will reduce the safety at these intersections. It is simply not good enough and I want people to let Transport for NSW know exactly how they feel.
“I am happy that the project is now moving along with the finalisation of detailed designs and the planned soft soil treatments to soon commence but we must be certain that our community has a voice that Transport for NSW hears it loud and clear,” Mr Dwyer said.
People can provide feedback until 5pm on Tuesday 7th October by going to coopernook2harrington@transport.nsw.gov.au
